Introduction
	This experiment examines effects of style age, resource allocation, and pollination treatment on successful pollination and seed set in Echinacea angustifolia.
	E. angustifolia's florets emerge daily, and styles persist until pollinated.
	Sequential style emergence in Echinacea capitulua in a outward-to-inward concentric circle pattern creates a gradient of style ages when not pollinated.
	Pollinator exclusion bags were placed on each head to ensure I could deliberately time pollinaton.
	After counting and pollinating the styles in each row, shriveled styles were counted on the following 2 days.
	This study will inform conservationists of the effects of erratic pollen avalibility.
