Research Interests
This summer I am researching the flowering phenology of Echinacea angustifolia. I will be keeping track of flowering times in 6 remnant prairies throughout Douglas County, Minnesota. I am interested in seeing how flowering phenology relates to the size of the remnant as well as any effects that phenology might have on the seed set of a plant.
Statement
I am very interested in studying the impact of humans on the natural environment. In the future, I hope to further my education at the graduate level and pursue a career in conservation biology.
