Research Interests

This summer I am interested in examining how genetic diversity affects herbivory and plant ecophysiological traits. Two of my main focuses will be looking at aphid load on plants and examining how it is affected by either plant photosynthetic rate or trichome density.

Statement

After I graduate from Gustavus, I am interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in plant-insect interactions focusing on chemical ecology, induced defenses, or the evolution of mutualisms.
