Echinacea Project, 2015
Carleton College, 2015
Research Interests
This summer, I am interested in studying Echinacea populations in Douglas County, Minnesota. I am especially interested to learn more about the genetic effects of prairie fragmentation.
Statement
I grew up in Brooklyn, New York but have enjoyed spending the last four years at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. I graduated this June with a degree in Biology and am excited to learn more about evolutionary ecology with Team Echinacea! I have spent the past year studying the tallgrass prairies of Carleton’s arboretum and am eager to delve deeper into this field this summer. In my free time I enjoy running, fishing, kayaking, and spending as much time outside as possible!
