Research interests: I am hoping to build on my knowledge of native flora and how they affect the environment around them, especially the soil characteristics. I would love to learn more about how deep rooted perennials affect the hydrology of the landscape.
Statement: I am from Virginia, MN
I started getting interested in native prairie plants when i was in high school working with conservation corps MN and IA in their youth program, I love being outside and spending time in nature. My hobbies include running, snowboarding, fishing, hiking, and gardening.

Greetings!
The University of Minnesota Morris is excited to announce our Summer Opportunities Fair. The event will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will be open to all students, including graduating seniors, students seeking internships, and others interested in general information about summer jobs with your organization.
The Fair will begin with employer set-up between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. in Oyate Hall of the Student Center Building. Throughout the day your representative will connect with well-qualified, bright, hard-working, and eager prospective employees. Over 150 students have attended this fair in previous years.
Please follow this link to complete your registration via Handshake, the University of Minnesota’s official career management system. If you do not have a Handshake account, please follow the brief registration process. Please note that all new accounts are approved manually, and there may be a short waiting period.
Since space is limited, an early registration will insure your opportunity to participate. The $40 non-refundable fee includes up to two pre-registered representatives. Additional representatives are welcome for a $15 fee per individual. Lunch will be provided for pre-registered representatives, compliments of the University of Minnesota Morris. Additional details will be provided via email prior to the Fair.
For your information, Spring 2024 final examinations end on May 10 and fall semester begins on August 21.
