Looking for orchids, this is in some pretty swampy area. Someone Mentha.

This plant appears to not be photosynthetic

Great photo of the white fuzzy! I think they eat aphids.
Also, that white plant has some major issues.
Yeah, so bugguide.net suggests that it may be Orthezia or something related to that. I’m not finding much information on the net about them, but the pictures I do see make it seem plausible. I’ll bring my hand lens and take a closer look.
